It's time to upgrade and repair the front suspension.

Part of this is retiring the OME's and going coilover. The two I am looking at are the Radflo 2.5", and the Sway-Away 2.5". They both look good, but having no practical experience with either I am taking opinions.

I would prefer that you own one of these, but if you have installed either and had issues, that is valid as well.

They are within $50 of each other so cost is no factor, which would you get?

If anyone wants to replace your upper control arm bushings, I won't be using that part of the kit.

This would replace the softer stock rubber with graphite impregnated urethane.

Dibs!
No prob, forgot you were still running stockers.

THE new way to remove control arm bushings..

I have to give credit to tacomaworld for the "redneck" bushing press. This is an example worth following.

I have read that the bushings are glued in and with some heat they will release and push out with relative ease
I am going to pick up a pair anyway. I am sure you got your use out of them..

Good info.

It took me 4 day's to find a place willing to do mine.

Toyota 101 was the 1st to refuse, then several machine shops.

Finally found a place in redwood city and $100 later had them replaced.

My final decision was between Radflo and King. While I ended up going with King, Radflo was a very close second choice. Both Andreas and Mark at Radflo were great to work with and very patient with all my questions. In retrospect, I'd likely be just as happy with the Radflo set up.
On a side note, talk to Andreas about spring rates to accommodate your winch, bumpers, load capacity, etc. They will custome valve and are very knowledgeable with spring rates.

Good luck.

I will get to do this when I finally have to rebuild.

Mine have the MT adjustments and I will stick with those for now. When rebuild time comes, I will have a talk with OW to discuss their services.
