FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I am just wondering, I know it is not FJ related. Would anyone here be interested in some pics from here in Iraq? Nothing earth shattering...maybe a few not for kids, pics of soldiers goofing off in adult ways..no nudity!!
Military vehicles etc. Just pics to see what it is like where I am at.
Please let me know..if you decide yes, tell me where to post, if not, then we won't worry about it.
Best Wishes

Love to see you guys having some fun, we never hear about the good stuff over there.
You guys are doing a hell of a job and deserve to have fun, have as much as you can and make sure you do it on our dime.

Godspeed on your return.
X2 what Bozly said. I'd love to see what you guys do over there when your not working. We really appreciate you guys!

Very cool
Have any of those military grade vehicles doing crazy things in the sand?
I'd like to see the first one getting air over the top of a dune.
Thanks ,
i am surprised that so many of you want to see these. I just did not think you would be interested.....my bad, sorry for not giving you credit for thinking about us!!! it won't happen again!!
I have taken over 1300 pics... and still have 5 months to go. When I get back, maybe we can meet someplace for a beer, and I will he happy to show you all of them you want to see.
I will try to give a description of the pics..internet is really slow here..took almost two hours to download these!!!
I am on FOB SYKES. Forward Operating Base SYKES
About 2 miles from the town of TAL AFAR in Northern Iraq. About 40 miles from Syria.
Since you have members in the service among your group, if there are military questions you have about things you see, i hope they will feel free to comment.
it is both a pleasure and an honor to be here for you...even though i am a civilian.
Thank you one and all for your support!!!!
Respectfully
Rob
Beer meet with a slide show, cool.

Let CaAnnie know when and she'll put it out on the beer phone, good excuse for a gathering of FJ folks.
suecyde,
how long ago were you here? thanks for your service!! sorry about no caps...typing in dark in room with electric glow stick for light..one handed..sorry.
a lot of the soldiers i deal with were on the move as well...you have my admiration..after talking to them, it is not as easy as so many think..... long days..no relaxing.....not the stuff that sees the nightly news, that's for sure.
what vehicles did you use? i work on the maxxpro mraps.
first pic is of the vehicles i service
you will see some pics of our motorpool that were taken 14 hours ago. it rained in the am, then cleared up around noon my time.
the captain i am pictured with, is an outside the wire guy as well. he is really cool customer. i will get pics of the others i deal with majors, colonels, Sargent, as well. the major gave me a tee shirt from his group, "shadow company" i will wear it when i get back to the states.
the tank looking thing is an 88. it is used for vehicle recovery
then there is the pic of phillips and reese. reese is the male......what can i say, the women here are every bit the soldier as the men. i would have to say that they have a fantastic sense of humor.
