FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Ok, I just purchased a snorkel and I will be buying some Bushwhacker pocket flares in March.  My questions are:  which should I mount first and does anyone have either experience doing this mod or a template (maybe the left over plastic you cut off the flare?)  Or can you recomend someone who does this well for a reasonable cost?  I've been all over the blue room and I know MAF sells flares that include the cutout for a snorkel.  I also know they charge and extra $100 for this option and that it tends to not match up at all (from what people are saying).  Any help would be appreciated.

I made a template from my bushwacker (thanks again Set) install and used it on Back in Black (John) PRG install last month.

Currently the template is out on a rental to "Blue Room" members from Oregon.

Nester for the win!  He did an amazing job with my Snorkel install.

Thanks buddy!!

Hey Nestor, did you have to take the snorkel off to install the flare? I'm wondering if I could get you to cut my flare when I get them? I'd be more than happy to travel to you and compensate you what you feel would be appropriate. I looked at your install on your page and it looks great!

Install the Snorkel first, then the Bushwacker fender flares. To speed up the Snorkel install, buy the srew grommets for the fender liner.

Yes, i can cut the Bushwacker flares. The template should be back from rental in a few days.
Hey Nestor thanks! I'll let you know when I get the bushwhackers. Where can I purchase the screw grommets for the fender liners? Would TRDparts4u have them?

I can source/supply the screw grommets for the fender lines.

Oh wait, are those the pieces that hold the inner fender on?

Yes.

Cool! What are these brackets for? ( I haven't even read the snorkel install directions so maybe I'm missing some info easily obtainable...). And what will I owe you for them?
