Install Day/BBQ - Sacramento Area - 9/11

I will be hosting an Install Day and BBQ at my place on September 11th from 10AM to about 5PM or whenever everyone is done.. If you have something to install come on by. If you do not, come on by anyway. The location is about 45 miles east of Sacramento on hwy 50. The exact location will be PM'd to those interested near the date.

I will supply burgers, dogs, sodas and a grill. Others can bring salads, deserts, etc. I ask that no alcohol be brought on site. I have just moved into a new neighborhood and do not want to cause any problems with my new neighbors.

I have a few tools, plus a welder and compressor if I can get them wired up before then.

Ask questions if you have them. Post if you are interested.

If another date works better for a bunch of people, it can be changed.

Hope you can make it.

I'll bring sum gatorade and soda....possibly can have the wife make egg rolls....not a bbq regular but food is food :)

anybody have a spring compressor? If I get my new OEM heavies i may need to borrow it for the install :-)

You can go to many autoparts stores and "rent" tools. Most of them give all of your money back when you return them. I think the AutoZone and the Kragen in Cameron Park both do this.

i will be there... my car is squeeking really bad. i need to put spacers... what should i bring?

What spacers? I have basic tools, but if there is anything special you need post it, someone may be able to get one.

Hi D

Looks like you are setting up for another great NorCal FJ install day. Our travel plan just changed and I will be home this weekend. I am planning to come by. I see a need for a spring compressor. I can pick one up local and return it in the early afternoon.

I would like to try to weld up a second battery mount... would need some help. Never welded before. Do you need welding supplies that I can help with?

Should I bring my jack and stands for others?
