Install Day?

I figured there are more people than just me who have a bunch of mods laying around the house waiting to be installed on our FJ so im posting up to see if anyone is interested in doing an install day. I dont know of any location to use or when to do it but i know some people do. its always more fun to have people help out so this can also serve as a meet and greet too. Maybe we can do it before the HH run on the 15th so those of us installing stuff can test it out there?

Post up if you have any ideas

All you need is a driveway, a parking lot, or a gravel road. Set one up in yours or a buddies place and they will come.

id tell people to come to my house in a heartbeat but there is just barely enough room to wrench on two rigs at a time. and i dont feel like that would be productive. Does anyone have a big yard or something where we could wrench on a bunch of rigs or just have a bbq or something?

I tried putting together an Install Day and BBQ a few weeks ago, but there was not much interest. Could be the fact I am in Placerville, which is quite a drive for most. I have enough driveway for 15+ rigs and about 2 1/2 acres of off pavement parking. I was thinking of posting another soon.

Did an Install Day ever materialize? I have a set of front Bilstein 5100 adjustibles on the way and could use some help installing.

I may do one the end of October. We will see how much interest there is.
If you want to make the drive, I would help you out install day or not.

That's your best bet, or during Thanksgiving weekend. I don't know about you dorks, but these are best in the fall and winter. It's too darn hot and after the drive it's like working on a frying pan.

I'd totally roll to some place in Stockton/Sac. I've got quite a few tools I can bring. I'd recommend a place that has ample electrical and ventillation.
