FJ Cruisers of Northern California
Hey Guys,
I decided to go for broke and install new fog lights in the lower grill as well as black out everything while I was at it.
I have the brush guard off and everything else that I can think of but the bumper will not come off. It is hung up below the blinker somewhere.
I did find a post where Nestahedition pointed out the clip and the directions of how to get it off of there, but the photo was gone and I have tried everything the blue room said to do to roll the bumper off that clip.
Can you guys shoot me some advice?
Josh

You need to pull/yank out and forward from the wheel well edge and get it over the side mounts it will take some force but you will feel it give and pop off. It felt excessive when i did it but that's what it took be ginger but strong like bull.
Good point i should have added to make sure just to pull the skin when i said out and the forward to get over this piece and free the clips.
Thank you everyone for the help. The late reply was due to me finally getting that thing off and going full bore to make up some time.
I can't believe how brittle that clip is. A little piece did break off, but it wasn't the top clip and the integrity still looks good otherwise.
Got the whole from tend blacked out, light install is first thing int he morning. Will post before and afters when it's all wrapped up.
Thank you all again for the advice and photo references
