Tuesday, March 31, Moab Utah

A Hummer yesterday parked on the a rock overhang along Top of the World trail, east of Moab Utah, fell to the bottom of Fisher Valley when the rock gave way. The site has long been a popular location for hikers, mountain bikes and 4-wheel drive enthusiasts to take photos.
No one was injured, the driver of the 6400 lb vehicle was setting up for a photo when he heard the cracking of the rock ledge.
BLM and other agencies are investigating the environmental impact of the incident. Environmental groups are calling for a closure of the trail to all vehicles.

i heard it was pink with a bunch of chrome on it. they say Kokopelli didn't want that thing to reproduce (not knowing it was not a living being) and let the ledge go. frightening.
