FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I drove my friends 07 tundra today and it sounds loud and mean. How can I make my FJ sound like that? Is there more than just exhaust that can be enhanced to change the sound?

Actually I did go with a K&N filter, flowmaster, and increased the diameter of the tail pipe an inch. Sounds fairly beefy, not V8 beefy, but not ricey either. Step on the gas and "WAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!"  :)

I just saw something on the Blue Room about a BAMuffler install.  There are before and after videos.

I've got one of these BAmufflers (on a complete DirtyDeeds catback system) and it's definitely louder than my old TRD exhaust.

Each one is hand-built by the owner of DirtyDeeds in Escondido (near San Diego), and built like a tank.

I have a perfect solution for you:

This is an awesome little toy. Here it is in my rig:

What is it and how exactly does that work?
The video Magic posted explained it better. It's just an FM transmitter that plays V8 sounds through your stereo. Senses the noise from the alternator. Just a fun little toy.

Roll the windows down, but be ready for the resultant hurricane inside the cabin at highway speeds.
