NorCal FJs

FJ Cruisers of Northern California

POSTPONED! New date: Sunday, April 22nd.
REASON: It's been pissing on us all week.

The Tacoma World guys are rolling from Union City. They have about 45 trucks going. The caravan will be a giant smorgasbord of 'Yotas.

The main convoy is meeting at the Hollister Safeway at 9:30AM. Convoy from Union City is leaving at 8AM. Details below.
What some of us decided to do was bail as soon as all the Tacos turn for Safeway so we can beat the crowd to the gate. The FJs should be at the ranger shack around 9:45ish. Gate at 10AM to air down if our schedule works out.

Wheeling would bet tough with 40+ trucks. I'm sure we'll split into different groups, but a 50+ caravan would be pretty sweet! Us FJs can go play by ourselves :)

WOW! Great pics!

I thought I got through v-notch unscathed but I figured out what that pop noise was. My front swaybar links turned into V's. They are way too light duty. Real easy to straight back out.

How many of you got pics of me doing V-notch? I'm dying to see them.
Ahhh was wondering what that was. Glad to hear it was easy to fix.
Easy enough... I'm just glad everything worked out at the beginning of the V lol... May have had a little body work to do along with your sway bar links.

No kidding,  I didn't need to add body work to the list.  I think next time I'll air down to 8 psi to get some more traction.

those were pretty loud pops...glad it wasn't something worse

I think the last two in my album are of you doing v-notch.  Probably the best photos I took too.

Thanks for taking a few.  Those pics are sweet.

welcome =D

So I didn't make it Sunday with you all. My plans ended up changing on the drive over. However I did go on Monday. It was very interesting to be there all by myself. With a stock rig and no experience I didn't do anything too extreme, but it was still fun. What I can say is that if anybody heads back in next few months i'd be up for going again. I definitely need to go with folks that have more experience. I love seeing all the photos that folks have posted.

Great time guys good to meet the new faces we will defiantly have to set up another run later this year maybe another slick rock or Hell Hole camping trip.
