Help! with interior lights.

So today I had a bit of a crash.  Slid into a tree and sheered my passenger mirror off and dented door and roof.  Now the interior lights wont turn on when i turn ont he head lights.  Not sure if these two things may be connected, but seems possible. I also have recently tinkered with my aux lights to fit my new bumper.  

Im not to good with electronics, so if anyone may have an idea of whats wrong / where to look for a problem that would be great.

Did you check the dome light switch?

I did not check to see if it works.  I guess that may help narrow whats wrong down a bit.

Found the problem.  When my mirror broke off the wires touched and shorted the fuse.  Replaced the fuse and wrapped the wires, all works fine now !
