I'm going to be installing a cb in my rig but had a quick question. What would be the most convenient and effective way for power? Should I just get some wires to extend the power lines from the cb to the battery or is there a better way? Also does anyone have any knowledge in tuning? I will prob be installing this sat so if anyone has any info it would be appreciated or even better if someone was to have time to help me out I could come to you.

I'm going to the Hollister cleanup this Saturday, or I would have helped. Don't know if you're up to waiting. I've got my power coming from the Spod unit I installed a few weeks back, Before that I tapped into the wires going to the 12v plug in the dash. You could go direct to the battery, or set up another fuse connection.
Thanks for the info. Yeah I would have liked to help with the clean up as well but I didn't think to RSVP. Had other things planned that fell through, so I figured I work on the rig. If i don't get around to it, I'll let you know. Maybe you can help me install my CB and I can buff your pinstripes.
come down to the Clean up and we can install it there!
I didn't RSVP, can I even still come?. Wife was supposed to work overtime that day but just today, she found out she won't have too. So I don't know if it would be frowned upon if i showed up.
Hell no. Come on out. The more help the better. Maybe you could bring the magic juice for my pinstripes. We could see what needs to be done to wire your CB after cleanup & eats.
i can probably get you on the BBQ list...come on down.
I can bring my swr meter if needed...
Cha, you and wifey are good to go!
I will bring some tools.
Hey guys sorry I didn't get a chance to let you guys know I cant make it to the clean up day. Wife's boss decided to be a prick and decided to have them work sat morning anyhow and then to help our situation, we lost power the other day and I was unable to inform u guys I was not going to make it. Thanks again for all the info and have fun and stay safe.
