HELP! I need an alignment shop that knows what they are doing

I have Camburg UCAs and am running 3 1/4" of lift. I have already gone to two different shops and neither one could even get my caster into spec. I find it very hard to believe that I am the only one with a FJ/Tacoma that cant get my caster into spec with aftermarket UCAs. Can anyone please recommend a shop in the Sac area that really knows what they are doing with lifted IFS trucks. I know there are tons of FJ/Tacomas that can get things in spec with the UCAs.

Kelley Automotive in Shingle Springs did mine. It did not come out perfect but it was really close.

My buddy took his race truck to Les Schwab. I'll find out which one. I just installed my Total Chaos long travel kit and I'm going to have the shop he used to my truck. I know it is the one by the Rosemont area off Highway 50.

had the same issue after i installed mine :-)

Les Schwab won't do it...i don't trust em anyways :-P.

I would go to Lee's Automotive in Rancho...you WILL need to schedule an appointment, these guys do good work and you can't just drop by and get it done.

They were actually full when i went to get work done and I ended up going to Linville Brothers Tire, these guys did an A+ job. the guy actually manually adjusted everything and the FJ tracks awesome now. Make sure you bring in the Camburg installation sheet that specifies to set max caster first, and then bring everything else into spec.

I remember you mentioned that guy and I was waiting for you to chime in. Do you know what time this guy is open, maybe also on Saturdays? How much would he charge for a full alignment with adjustable Icons etc?

He is not open on the weekends, works the standard 8-5 M-F. He charges $80 and up, depends on how much time is spent.

When he did my alignment after installing the TC rear links, he did have to make an adjustment, and did not charge me any more than the usual price I pay for just the front. Your Icon links are easier to adjust so I doubt it we cost any more.

I went and looked at my cam bolts and my rears are maxed out... meaning no more adjustment for caster.... I'm just lost. UCAs are supposed to make it so you can fix alignment issues...waiting from wheelers for information about the TC UCAs if they position the uniball in a different spot. will switch down the road if the TCs will make it better.

The comment made by the guy that does my alignment was, "Wow, they know what they are doing." referring to TC and how the numbers were right where they are supposed to be.
