FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Hi everyone!

I've had my FJ for a little over a year now and I love the hell out of it. I live in Capitola and stay in the area for the most part. I've got a few mods on my rig that I've done myself or with a little help. The major stuff like wiring and suspension I had outsourced.

Mods: clear lens/ black housing turn signals, plasti-dipped roof, side mirrors, hood decal and cowel. MT Front bumper, MT slide rails. MPAC Rack on rear door, Custom rear lights (brakes), Brake light armor. PIAA black ion fog lights, PIAA driving lights, 20' LED light bar with two 6" LED lights on the roof (120 degree flood), 6" LED flood on the rear, custom made recovery tool mounts. Oh, almost forgot....I put an Aeroturbine "muffler" on the rig and chopped the pipe 6" from the can. It is pointed down and I often refer to it as the street sweeper. It gets loud when I throttle the beast.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome I am in pleasure point. I think I may have seen you around. Sitting in traffic on I5 on my way back home from doing the Mojave road.right now

I pick up the kids on the westside and take the beach route back to cap. I have no doubt you've seen me around. I also have a pretty distinct looking rig. =)

You don't by any chance have a goatee? I passed a guy on jade awhile ago in a silver one an awful lot like yours who looked like a guy met a few times who had a subie wagon at one time. Probably not you on both accounts though lol

Me on both accounts.

I sold the subie to my best friend when he got back from the sandbox. Gave him a stupid deal. I mean.....I cried a little bit. Buuuuuut he's a brother to me and the car is in the family. All I needed was enough to get the FJ. The subie wagon was the loudest I know of in the county. =)

So I flipped through your pics and saw your rig. I was the one who stopped in the middle of the intersection last year on 41st and Jade and commented on how sweet the alpine white looks.

And i said something to the effect Holy S&^! it's you because i thought i recognized you.

LOL then we already know each other. We met several times at the car meet i tried to put on I had the red civic Si and the buddy with the Sti and we had also previously met on the road when i had my white subie wagon. We keep running into each other.

Still have the storm trooper?

Yup, I blacked out the bumper and blacked out the housing for the headlamps. Lemme dig for a pic.

Edit:

Looks good
