Greater Canyonland National Monument

By now I'm sure most of you have heard about a proposition for 1.4 million acres of Utah land to be turned into a national monument that will outlaw off road use of vehicles. This 1.4 million acres includes places like Moab and the surrounding areas. It has been proposed to President Obama for consideration and if you want to be able to wheel there this may be the time to take some action. Here's a link to the letter and the corporate sponsers.

This is the link to a letter written to Pres. Obama, Utah isn't happy that special interest groups are going this route to oust certain groups from using their public lands. Will be interesting to watch, the other thing that is working is going to supporters of the letter's facebook pages and politely voice your disappointment in their decision.
