Great local welder / metal fab (East Bay)

I just wanted everyone to know that I have found a really good local welder/fab shop.

The shop is in Alameda @ 2318 Clement Ave.

In my case, I needed my rock rings welded to my stock steelies. He not only did a great job welding, but also sanded the wheel lips, and ground the welds smooth. They look sweeeeet!

All of this for $35 a wheel (my other estimates were $45 and $50 per wheel, not including the extra sanding and grinding).

I wouldn't call him with a "weld my exhaust tip" request (muffler shop), but I would definitely call if I wanted to customize my sliders, armor, or needed substantial welding.

CJ is into high performance Volvos, check out the "touring car championship" style Volvo wagon out front.

To sum it up, good guy, good shop, great work. If you are considering a welding/fab job give him a call.
