I was thinking of putting a front receiver hitch on for a winch. Had anyone here done this? Any recommendations? Thanks

You have 2 pull points at the front of the frame. I have used those to pull others out of snow/mud etc with a shackle and a rope with no issues.

Steve Hope.

On my rescue trucks at work they have 2" receivers on all 4 sides with a chassis mounted Anderson connector for the battery cables. They have Warn XD9000I winches.

Thanks for the input and link. I like the weight saving benefit.
