First Aid, CPR and Wilderness First Aid Training & Certification Programs

NorCal FJs is working with Sweet Otter to notify you of upcoming First Aid, CPR and Wilderness First Aid certification courses.


now is the perfect time to obtain new certification or get re-certified. these life-saving skills are extremely valuable in our outdoor recreational activities and the region in which we live. more importantly, they become invaluable when it comes to the possibility of saving/prolonging the life of someone we know.

 

we encourage you to get certified by attending these courses. please keep an eye out for upcoming certification courses identified by the traditional red cross medical symbol in the NorCal FJs Event Calendar. occasionally, NorCal FJ members will receive a special course rate.

 

 

also, for those of you who happen to be on your company's Emergency Response Team, these courses provide the necessary certification in the event you are unable to take time off from work.

 

i can't think of a better way to get certified than to do it with friends and members of NorCal FJs! and, yes, you are more than welcome to invite significant others, family and friends!...especially since they may be the ones who save you.

two courses are coming up! Wilderness First Aid certification course takes place this weekend in the North Bay and CPR certfication takes place at Hollister Hills SVRA on the 18th. NorCal FJ members are receiving a good deal. sign up now before classes fill up!

Theses classes are being very well received by our fellow off-highway enthusiasts! I am off to Mudrak's in Sonoma this weekend to teach the Wilderness First Aid class and am working with Debra in Hollister Hills on setting up a WFA class there this summer. As soon as I get the dates finalized, I will post up here.

I thought WFA was such a great class where you learn to prepare yourself for emergencies in the backcountry.  Doing the class at Mudraks is a great bonus since you can check out all the cool cruisers during breaks.
