Do You Have A Rear Drawer Storage System?

I made one out of .75" plywood. I used heavy drawer slides in it and it worked well. The problem I had was it's weight. By itself it was probably 50lbs and when I added tools and gear I actually noticed my mileage decreaseo

i would ping Sonof40 and Red Leader...two of the best homemade solutions i've seen so far. if you want to buy something that is pre-built, Tuffy makes one.

Mine is actually a mod of SonOf40's design, very simular, it doesn't have a drawer, but it could be easily modified.  We do not have a rear seat any more either, but it's nice and flat from the back of the seats to the rear door, I have slept in it many times and I think SonOf40 lives in his ;-)   I also have my Viair system plumbed in with the tank and compressor inside it out of view, outlet on each side right by the door for easy access to air up.

Sorry it took so long to get pics posted, been swamped at work and had to find where the heck I saved these...

Both sides open up and it provides a lot of storage space

I built one out of 1/2" plywood to cut down on the weight.  It has about 60 lbs of tools and parts in it and it has held up very good.  Buy the strongest drawer slides you can find and build yourself one. Mine works good for a prototype but there are some changes I will make with the next one.  I have some pics in the ARB thread and there are some great ideas in the second link from the blue room.  Good luck!
