CB tuning?

So I got a CB radio and everything, but I need to tune it and don't know exactly how or what I need.

Does anyone know how and have the right tools? I was thinking maybe I could tune it up at the Hollister run next Saturday or something...

So I think I got it to work. My roommate realized that he forgot to put the plastic ring on the antenna mount (the insulator) but apparently he lost it, so I got another plastic ring and a rubber washer so now I am receiving pretty well. I tried transmitting but either no one is receiving me or they are simply not replying.

try transmitting with the intro: "Breaker breaker, this is Rubber Duck..." and i'm sure you'll get an answer. if that doesn't work, try: "This is Roscoe P. Coltrane, you got yer ears on? c'mon!"

Haha one of the channels I'm getting is having the oddest conversation... I wanted to ask if they were receiving, but I feared for my life (very intense guys arguing haha).
