hey guys i want to ad a cb radio to my rig. i was wondering what are you guys using as far as a radio. im getting ready to order the boztech antenna mount for out side but im still kinda wondering what i should get as far as a deck? any advice would be most helpful.

I use a Midland 75-822 portable with Firestik brand coaxial cable, stud mount, springs, and quick disconnect on a Boztec mount. I've only used it on trails and has worked well so far. I keep it disconnected most of the time and just leaves it in the console. Hope this helps.

Also check out the Cobra 75, a couple folks on here have it and like it's compact size as well.

I run one of the $70 Uniden radios.  I made a mount for mine that ties into my rear view mirror mount.

You might want to look in ham radio, technician class. Seems to be the way to go in the Sierras.
