I would call around to junk yards and see if they have any. IF you have to get a new one it will be $$ that's for sure.

What happened to yours?

Well awhile back I got stuck in mud for a while in an angle and I knew I got mud inside my exhaust and maybe my Catalytic converter.  I tried cleaning it 3-4 times now.  The reason I said it my CC is because I seem to lost power.  Then when I clean the CC sand, soil and dirt comes out.  Also the FJ runs smooth until it the engine gets warm then its back to normal.  Hopefully that makes sense

WOW so unfortunately, I dont know why good ole CA doesn't allow aftermarket CC.  I say again just CA. What a crack of shit.  Just another way to get money from people.  ARGH so most likely I gotta by OEM CC

thats going to be $$$$$$$$$$$$ i looked at replacing all my cats once its about a grand for just parts and that was with a 10% discount

You can no longer get a cat from a junk yard in calif. unless you know someone, however you can run a after market cat no problem, I have them on 4 of my vehicles and allways pass smog not exactly leagal in calif. but who gives a shit as long as it passes smog

Yea, you can totally run an aftermarket cat. My friend passed smog with one no problem. They are much cheaper. If ya ever need a new one welded up let me know!!
