Bud Built Complete Set

OK, here's the deal.
I was just talking to Vaughn and he has a deal put together from someone in SoCal
for two 5 piece, with beefy gas tank, sets of skids.
They come bare but they will PC them for $240/set, I think with two or more sets all one color
we can do it cheaper up here. Also, shipping is $175/Set but if two or more of us kick in for gas,
Vaughn has kind of offered to go retrieve them for us.
The kicker is, with two sets they offered a $100 discount per set, maybe a bit more with 3 or more,
don't know for sure on this one but it would be at least $100 per.

If anyone is on the fence for skids, this sounds like a good deal to me.
We will get two sets for sure, anyone else?

Get it shipped to a commercial addy for even more of a discount. We bought five sets and essentially saved on shipping. You got a good deal.

Sorry for the lack of numbers, Base price $25 more than Buds sight, $1075

We'll present them 3 sets and get the final #'s on the skids,
and I will try to check on powder coating Wednesday for 3 sets
all one color and 3 different colors as an option.

Rough #'s as I remember, for 2 sets.
$1075 minus $100 from this.
$240 PC I think we can do better local
$175 shipping per set.
$1390 per for 2, with the we pick them up gas option, the more people who put into
the gas pool, the shipping just gets cheaper.

Im sure tax would be applied to $975 and the $240 as well

This same deal from the East Coast $1490 plus whatever extra shipping over the $175
there would be.

I'll try to have all of this confirmed Wednesday, make sure the vendor is on board
and we'll get some skids.

Why taxes? Bud's are shipped from Carolina or something, we did not pay taxes on those last summer. Right potatomutato?

Tax is really going to kill your discount.. Why not just talk to bud directly.. Thats what we did..

Yeah, it makes it kind of a wash, but picking them up our selves saved quite a bit but there is the whole go to LA thing for a day.

Maybe Bud has a rippin' shippin' deal.

I talked with him the other day and shipping for 2 sets was $225, so the way it worked out buying from Bud was only $47 more than the LA deal, granted my guy powder coats them here for $165/set.

Anyway, I bet Bud makes more money if you buy direct and that's a good thing.

I am interested in a full st if the price is right.That is one of the last mods i need to do before i try to taclke the rubicon this summer.I would be looking for a full set powdercoated black,I'm in the campbell area

Not at all, this sounds like a good idea, the more the merrier.
If all were pretty local and we were all going black, we could either ship
to my shop, or straight to the powder coater.
