Does anyone have the Boztec antenna mount with the Firestik setup?

What coax cable are you using for to connect your cb to your antenna?

My "fire ring" coax cable does not fit in the Boztec antenna mount and wanted to know what others were using.

I modified my boztec to allow the fire ring to fit inside, but have not actually terminated the end to see how it is working.  I think the only thing I might need to do is scrape some paint for a better ground.  I was determined to make the fire ring work on the inside :-)

brandon installed mine.. Check with him.
I bought the fire ring too but decided to buy a different cable that just I just plugged. Have yet to get it working though. Never go around to finishing install. I was originally going to just have the fire ring sit on top of mount.

Ah, I want to replace my coax cable with the fire ring terminal to a different setup that would work with the Boztec mount.

I can talk to people when they are in plain sight, but when I had my old setup, I could talk to people in San Leandro from San Francisco. I miss that =\

BZ - Which one on the right?

Ok, I will also need to get something that connects this cable to the antenna.
