FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Hi, I realized that a person very close to me doesn't know how an engine works. I do not mean be able to repair it, but at least the concepts.

This is not acceptable. Otto and Diesel cycles, 2 and 4 strokes, distribution transmission etc what is a good book that can explain it all in relatively simple terms? I am not looking for a University book on endotermic engines, but something with pictures and schematics that help understand... Back in Italy I have plenty of stuff but I wouldn't know what to get here.

Thanks

Buy a good model, Lego has a nice 4x4 truck with 1200 or 1400 pieces. It is v8 and has suspension, two differentials etc.
