Bodie trip

I was considering making a run to bodie April 1st ish. Any recommendations on camping spots? Or thoughts on weather this time of year? I expect it to be cold but don't know if it is intolerable cold. Thanks.

Checked my favorite areas to camp, all say they are closed until later in April. Hopefully someone comes up with a tip.

You might check out Laurel Lakes. Primitive and slight technical to get there but secluded and next to a small creek.
