Beer and BBQ at my place Saturday 4/24 All-Pro 4 hole Air Dam and PIAA 540's install

Ok Guys and Gals,

I need help installing the  All-Pro 4 hole Air Dam and PIAA 540's...The plan is to bribe as many of you as
possible with BEER and MEAT (veggies 2).  I live out in Pleasanton off
of the Castlewood Sunol Blvd exit.  I am free both days this weekend
and am flexible to either day.

I think I have all of the gear needed for the install.
Light Bar, Light's, Relay, switches, fuse block, 10 gauge Pos/Neg wring, drill, beer and meat.

I was thinking of drilling through the roof (under the foot) and running
the wires through the A-Pillar.  But I am open to suggestion from
anyone with install experience.  Just an FYI, I have no idea what I am
doing on this install....

Thanks for the support, Photobucket

Hi Guys,
I recently went in on a group buy for the All-Pro 4-Hole Air Dam w/ the
PIAA 540's.  I need some pointers on the installation of the dam,
running wiring for the lights, & for the interior switches.

I already have lots of battery drains (stereo, fog lights, & wench).
Now I want to add the 4 PIAA lights (& the air dam they fit in, of course), which will probably pull more battery.

What else do I need to buy?  I've already spent the money on the gear
(lights, switches, dam, wiring harness, etc.), so I'd like to do the
work myself (or w/ help) cheap, if possible.  The plan is to run the
wires through the foot of the stock roof rack,
into the headliner, down the front-driver's pillar, in through the
dash, & down to the control panel area.
Do I need some kind of fuse box for this project or future expansions? What kind? Other wires?

I tried before w/ my old Tacoma.  I ripped apart the dash & console to try to put in some extra light wiring & it never went
back together quite right again; rattled, sold cheaper for the damage,
etc.  I'd like to avoid something like that happening again & do it
right this time.

I'm in no hurry, but would like to get this done as soon as possible.  The air dam & lights stare at me every
time I walk into the garage.

I installed my airdam with the 4 piaa's a few weeks ago. I got it from the group buy on fjcruiserforums. Did you get it from the group buy too?
I can help either one day or the other but once ya figure it out so can I.
shouldn't be more than an hour or 2...
Right on BZ, Saturday @ noon it is then...I really appreciate the help. I will PM you my address and phone #. The real question is Steak or Chicken??? Corona of Budwiser???
Hey David,

Yeah, we've talked on the Big Blue board...It's John from P-Town. I've been holding out on the install because of all the install issues I saw posted on the GB board. Now that I have the replacement Air Dam I am ready to try the install.

If you are free on Sat around noon, your experience would be greatly appreciated.

John
do you have the relay and switch, clips for the A - pillar, are you using the factory wire harness?
