Do a search on truck stops. They all should have scales. I know in Sacramento all our truck stops have public scales.

in gilroy theres a cat scales and in san jose the sims metal management recycle place, im pretty sure if you go to a city dump they should have some too.

Any dump or recycling place will have scales.

Just google "truck scales" and your city and some will pop up.

There is a public scale just off De La Cruz Blvd in San Jose
