This closing has been headed up by the same person who has problems with off roading anywhere in cali. I forget her name, well some come to mind but I wil be kind, I know she had and EX husband who use to wheel, and now I guess she want to make sure that he cannot wheel anywhere..
This kind of stuff really sucks because the park has been doing a bunch of work with the run off and showing areas that have been allowed to re-grow.. This decision was made by a liberal judge in Alameda county so the results may have been different..
This is two places in just about three years that have been closed. First it was Clear Creek, now its Carnegie, who knows what it wil be tomorrow...
For those who want to write a letter, I am all for it but remember to keep it clear and clean. Name calling will not get you very far and do nothing but add ammo to her fight.. Having said that I encourage everyone to write a letter and get involved..
Me too. I believe their claim is that the water will eventually get to the delta, even though its only a creek for 4-6 weeks a year, It filters through the ground to a aquifer first (at least this is what I have been told)..
But the one thing I do know is they (enviros) will use every angle in the book to get the state to see it their way.
Believe it or not there are lawyers that specialize in water..
Which is a good thing in this state. I am sure they have lots of business
