All -  battery is getting a little sluggish.  I'm @ 6 years, 83k.  Looking to do a replacement.

If you replaced yours, what did you go with? Why? How much?

Thanks!

I plan to get the Sears P-5 platinum Diehard when the time comes. (relabeled Odyssey)

I went with Diehard platinum's in my 80. They are expensive but have a 4 year warranty and I like that they are sealed AGM batteries.

I put the higher end battery from Wal Mart.   Works awesome!

Sears Platinums in both the FJC and FZJ80. I have dual batterys in both. I have two platinums in the FJC and just one in the 80 and a diehard for the main battery.

Since I run my ARB in both trucks I  wanted it to have its own power source in either truck. Have had them for about a year with no problems. I was also able to run a speerate fuse block and many extra 12V outlets in the 80 fo rthe kids electronic stuff.

Also if your interested in the Platinum battery sears normally has anonline coupon for 10% in the auto dept.

I ordered an odyssey 34R PC1500. Had great reviews from others that had them. Cost me $300 bones .. but it's supposed to survive the apocalypse.
