5th annual Cantina for the Con is off to a great start
Hey Everyone,
RTF and Dysfunctional rockcrawlers are excited about the 5th annual Cantina for the con and the activities surrounding the event this year.
In the next following weeks we will be opening up the Raffle ticket purchases for this years chance to win lots of exciting prizes from vendors like 4 wheel parts, pirate4x4.com, BFG(yes I said BFG), DOA Racing and more.
There will be several ways to purchase tickets. Online Ticket sales are back and we will be offering ticket sales at several of the local rockcrawling comps and rock races not to mention at the event it self.
So stay tuned and I will keep you guys posted with the dates, locations and comps we will be setup at and how to purchase tickets Online.
If you are attending one of the comps where we are setup, make sure you come by and say hello to our hard workers and remember 100% of the proceeds goesto RTF and keeping the trail open to all.

Thanks for posting this up Steve.. Just a meeting with MTA last night and we talked about going. Looks like many want to attend.. Some people even want to head in and check out the trail.
This is a great event and a good way for RTF to raise money to keep trails open for al of us to enjoy. I plan on going but I am not sure if I am going to camp or what. So come on Nor-Cal lets head out and support a great event....

Loon Lake Labor day weekend. I have been to this event the last 2 years it is a really good time. Plus the raffle prizes are really good. One year i won 300.00 worth of stuff.

You may have heard about this event! It's the Rubicon Trail Foundation's 5th annual Cantina for the Con fund raiser held at the Loon Lake spillway on Labor Day weekend (September 5th and 6th). We would love to see you there, but if you can't make it it's okay.
You can still donate to a worthy cause by simply buy tickets! I can give you 5,000 reasons why you should.
An anonymous donor has offered to match every dollar spent on "online" raffle ticket sales up to $5000!!!!
What does this mean? For every dollar you spend in "online" raffle tickets, the anonymous donor will match it dollar for dollar. Our goal is to sell $5,000 in "online" raffle tickets. But we need you're help!
FAQ:
I don't live in the area can I still win?
YES, you can. We don't care where you live, we just want your support. So if you win a prize we will send it to you. We do ask that you pay for shipping if it's a large item.
Do I have to be at the event to win?
NO, you don't. We understand that you want to help us support the trail and might not be able to make it for what ever reason. (Even though you're missing out on great tacos.)
How much are tickets?
Raffle ticket prices are:
1 for $1
7 for $5
15 for $10
32 for $20
85 for $50
200 for $100
How do I purchase tickets??
A few ways to pay! We will gladly accept your check or money order made out to the Rubicon Trail Foundation (RTF) or you can buy tickets using your credit card. We ask if you would like to purchase tickets, please send an email to cantinaticketsales@gmail.com with the following information:
Your name
Home address
E-mail
Phone Number
# of tickets you would like
If you are purchasing by credit card, you can call me directly at 510-209-5549. If I do not answer, please leave your name and number and I will return your call as soon as possible. Please make sure to still EMAIL all the other information for your ticket purchase.
