I had BFG KM2 315/75/16 installed with stock rims I did the BMC. The 3in Toytec liftkit is in the mail. Drove around all weekend no rubbing at full turns didn't do any major wheeling. Anyway the KM2 did great in the snow.

I had stocks 32's with lots of room.
Most of the time if you are running stock rims, 3" of lift and 33" tires you will have minimal rubbing if any. I'd get your tires installed and see if it rubs.

Mine only barely rubbed at full lock when turning in to a parking spot and when backing up no rub at all. I had the body mount chop done when I got the chance and definitely needed it with the rims I have installed now. The different backspacing would have caused clearance issues.
Steve, any updates to your FJ?
Well let's see, I did get the 3 inch Toytec Lift. Looks and rides great. No real big ticket items. I did a short write-up in the wheel and tire section on how I got the low air Sensor to stay off - now that I have the short ATV valve stems installed. I work for the CA DOT, so with all the rain and snow lately I have been working pretty much non stop. That should help to pay for the tires and lift.  After they are paid off it will be time for bumpers.
I'm new to the forum and just saw your post. How did the 35's do on the stock rims? Did you have any issues with the width of the tires?
