2012 Turf 'N Surf?

just wondering might be going on with this Novembers Pismo Beach Invasion ?

As far as I know, there's nothing planned yet for this year. 2011 was Pismo Jim's last year organizing the event, so if something is going to happen this year, it's up to Tater or someone else to take the reigns. And it'll be just us FJ's.

AllCall 2012 was kinda in the same boat, but it looks like some guys from SoCal are going to be planning something that us NorCal'ers are more than welcome to.

I'm sure there will be a Land Cruiser contingency as well (organized or rouge groups)...considering it originally was a TLC event.

Alot of people are just going to show up,first weekend in Nov.there is chatter that someone may host,see IH8mud.com

This is good news! People just showing is kind of what I expected to happen. Over anything, I'm just hoping some kind of all Toyota event can continue on in the same manner as S'n'T has.

I never meant that there would only be FJ's at a possible event, just that if anything had to be planned within our own ranks, it might just be a gathering of FJ's, like an AllCal event. I figured the larger an event is, the harder it might be to plan.

That's, of course, assuming that no one else from any other groups organized something. Though, now it looks like something good might be in the works!

I see there is alot of mixed support for the date of pismo 2012.some people want the second weekend in NOV. others want something in OCT.(?) I just hope it gets sorted out in time for people to make plans and get time off from work,etc. personally, I'm hopeing for the first weekend in NOV. but it may not work out that way.what do others think about this?
