yes,it's the alluminess,check out my photos,only weighs a little more than stock one,now i'm looking for a winch.

just orderd the daystar lift,will install when winch goes in.trying to decide between smittybilt XRC8-comp(light weight/syn-rope)or the ironman monster 9500(waterproof/wireless remote)what do you think?

I'm not sure myself, my rig is still stock and will probably be for awhile. I almost had to sell it but luckily things worked out :).

glad to hear that,i have to budget myself with mods,and not go wild changing stuff,as much as i'd like to.there are just so maney cool aftermarket items out there,it's tempting.good thing i have to check with my wife on major mods,good luck,terry
