2010 Memorial Day Weekend (may 28-31st) - COYOTE FLAT (near bishop)

Date: May 28-31 (Friday night and Monday optional)

Meeting Place: Lone Pine, Alabama Hills
Time: 9:30 Saturday Morning. Early arrivals may meet early, we will be camping at Alabam Hills

Direction to Meeting location: From Lone Pipe, head west on Whitney Portal rd, until you see the Alabama Hills sign, turn right onto dirt rd, and drive 1 mile

Trails: We will be doing many trails, none too hard, but all very scenic. There will be a signup soon. These are some of the trails on our agenda.

Keeping up isn't the problem, the wiz and gas up stops are what kills the time for us and it looks like if we all head down together we're gonna have 7 or 8 rigs... 12 hours here we come!!!

Better plan for a 4 AM start (read 6 AM) to make sure we get there before dark to get a spot.

B.Y.O.S. bring yer own stuff, or if you want to, as in the past, sponsor a meal- say breakfast for a day for the weekend others would get dinner and late nite snacks and chow, and so on.....

And you can forget about SoCal those knuckleheads can barely boil water....=)'

i'll have you know...i'm busting my arse to get these SoCal folks going....organizing the bar area has turned out to be quite the challenge. i'm gaining ground i must say....if we dont have food...we'll have booze. :)
