FJ Cruisers of Northern California

So I went to the Outdoor Sportsmans Show in Sacramento a couple weekends ago and came across a couple neat items that would be great additions to anyones off-roading gear.

The first item is the CS250 Chainsaw from the Oregon PowerNow Cordless Tool System line, it features a 40v Lithium Ion battery pack, it has a self sharpening system and comes with a standard 14" Bar. I like this because it eleminates the need to carry 2-stroke gas and oil. The chainsaw comes in at 11 lbs with the standard battery pack but there is an upgrade to a Endurance battery pack that raises the weight to 12 lbs. For more info visit: OregonPowerNow.com

The second item is a new Ice Chest on the market, Icehole High-Performance Coolers. These coolers are made in Texas using Military grade materials to help withstand extreme conditions. It features interlocking non-skid feet, an exclusive freezer seal design, and latches from a M2 Bradley fighting vehicle. These units come with a limited lifetime warranty. There are 3 models available, the M35 (35qt) $255.00, the M60 (60qt) $349.00, and the M1 (100qt) $399.00,  available in 4 colors, Coyote Tan, Glacier White, Tactical Green, and Moab. For more visit iceholecoolers.com

Hope your all having a great winter wheeling season and see you all on the trail soon,

I like the idea of the electric chainsaw. I have a 110 one and it always work very well.

I've been thinking of getting one.  What type do you have?

I have a craftsman.. It works way better than I though that it would. I used it to clear small branches and some larger stuff. It have a 14" bar.  I got it as a gift so I am not sure how much it cost, but very handy..
