Do you guys think I should remove the Bud Built skid plates for Toyota to perform the 15k service? Any special instruction I should give to the manager when going in? I will make sure he knows I'm doing offroad so to pay special attention to the torque of the bolts etc

How much would one usually spends for the 15k service? (I will do the oil myself)

Download the FJ_RepairManual.pdf file. (22+ megabytes) About 198 pages in are some of the torque specs.

If someone in your area has the maintenance record book that comes with the vehicle, the services are listed in it.
If no one has it let me know and I will scan some pages out of mine and upload them.
I did both 15k and 30k. They never asked me to remove the skids when doing service.. the only time they want me to remove the skid (just the second plate from the front) is when I had work on the cat converter.. (no clue what they did, it was a warrantied service)
By the way I have found the website with the service information:

Hey is it true I need a 24mm socket to open the diff drain? If so I need to buy this socket...
yes, 24mm for the rear, tcase, and transmission, and a larger allen wrench for the front, I forget the size though. You'll also need a cheap oil pump.

this will help, we all know you like pictures...lol
Driveline Service
I believe its a 10mm allen for the front diff.. I believe thats the size..
So at the end Bz helped me for this service. It included:

- new fluids for differentials, transfer case and transmission
- winch maintenance
- removal of the bud built skid-plates, I sanded and repainted them almost completely
- engine oil and filter change (I've installed the fumoto valve also)
- windshield fluid refill
- new engine air filter
- new cabin air filter, but out from a "household" filter
- lubrication of the u-joints on the propeller shaft
- fix the 8th bolt of the rail rock (it wouldn't enter)
- now I finally have a spare tire
- fix the position of my camping shower so it does not scratch the hood

Probably I have forgot something.

Thanks to Bz. I couldn't have done all of this by myself, especially as it was the first time. For everybody that needs a hand, he's the man.

Thanks to Bozly, for the sander, tapping tool, and logistic support :) And now I owe you even more pizza!!!
And Dominoes Doesn't count!!!
