I am curious of the snow level out there. We were in the lake Alpine area last weekend, and it seems that the trail may still have quite a few areas packed with deep drifts. We just acquire a new CanAm 800 and were thinking about taking it up to Loon lake this same weekend to go camping up the trail somewhere, or we could just ride in the Fj... who knows :-)

There will be a Wagon Run on Wednesday, which may be the best group for FJs to go in on. I think the leader will wind up being Bill Stayner, who is a very experienced wheeler.

I'm dropping in from the Tahoe side with the food, kitchen supplies and raffle goods. Let me know if there are any questions that need to be answered.

I think I will be hauling cargo for my club(PMC) from vallajo to S.Lake Tahoe,then hopefully finding a place to hang out(camp) untill returning Sunday?not prepared to run the trail yet,but want to check it out.

please note that the annual TLCA Rubithon dates have changed and there will be a July Rubithon for the first time ever!
