Event Description

Every year Shaver Lake has a fireworks display over the lake wich can be seen very well from the top of Bald Mountain. This year it will be on July 7th. It is an easy trail with some side atractions like Posi rock, V rock and hollywood hill. All skill levels can run this trail with no damage to your rigs even if its stock with street tires. Ill be heading up friday the 6th to gain a camping spot below the trail head.

It just dawned on me (I was a kinda slow remembering this), I'll be coming down 180 out of the mountains and I can go straight out 168 without going all the way through Fresno. Maybe at the bottom of the four lane? If not, I can detour into Fresno to meet up :)

For those of you that want privacy there are spots all around us that you can stay in. We went up the hill around 4pm Ill post signs where we are camping its just down from the trail off dinky creek road. The signs we made are neon colors with nor cal fj in black real easy to spot in the day or night..
