Event Description

 FFA- fireworks from above  2014

Hello friends I know its early but I like to give as much time as possible for everyone to get a chance to enjoy this run with us in 2014.

Event schedule:

Thursday-

Meet at the park and ride on 41 and 145 in Madera at 12 noon. (let me know if you are going to meet us so we don't leave you behind)  we will drive up and set up camp...

Friday:

Play/fishing day 1 group will head into strawberry lake and another will head into courtwright res. [Friday pending on worrier run info I will need guides for the two runs if I confirm the wounded warrior run]

Strawberry lake is an advanced trail a lot of tight squeezes and boulders to climb on. I don't recommend a stock hight fj to do this trail unless you have under armor and slidders.

Courtwright is pretty easy with a lot of tight turns and some 3 wheel action stock rigs will have fun running this trail.

Im planning on doing another bbq dinner after everyone gets back to camp (still debating)

Saturday-

We leave camp around noon to head up bald mountain there are a few hard spots but stock rigs can make it no problem. we will have dinner on the top of the world overlooking the valley and shaver lake. When the sun goes down we watch the fireworks over shaver then head down the trail at night back to camp.

Sunday-

Camp clean up and tear down make sure the sight has no trash and get packed up to go home.

REMEMBER BRING YOUR CAMERAS AND TAKE VIDEO I MAY USE IT IN THE TRIP VIDEO....

Oh and if you are A new comer try to hook up with the guys coming from your area. That is if you are headed up Thursday to meet at noon.  There will be signs on the dinky creek road and rock creek road turn off with arrows on where to go from there they will be Black with neon green lettering (same ones from last year). If you need a mapped out corse I will have to work on one.

Although, on top of Bald Mountain I dont know about dogs.  Shaun, do you know?

Yes and Yes!  There is plenty of space for trailers, and since its dispersed camping dogs are ok

I'm a total noob to the club and would like to attend this event.  Might be a nice way to celebrate my 60th.  I have a couple of questions:

1. will the camping accomodate my small Teardrop trailer?

2. Is the campground Dog friendly? I guess if it is a state park it is not.
