that's what i'm going to do. when i did mojave i loaded to what i thought wasn't that much behind the back seat but it lasted 2 nights with the addition of my buddies load and still had some left. food? I'm not looking at doing to much for me, just a small charcoal grill, hotdogs maybe some canned stuff. good chance i'll rock the rock pot all day Wednesday and heat it up for dinner... and can't forget the tasty adult beverages!
well my dad has a bunch of fire wood up at his place so i can fill up my roof rack with wood. i dont have a trailor so i will bring as much as i can.
Sweet, 3 for sures.....I have a cb with a freshly tuned antenna (if I didn't just mess it up on the low tree branches I just romped through this morning...lol). I doubt you'll need a whip and flag but it's never a bad idea.
Firewood??? I wish I had a trailer already. We need a lot of firewood. Pallets leave nails behind but make great fires so there would have to be a serious cleanup after. I have a burn permit (I'm sure I'm not the only one). Getting the wood there may be an issue. My neighbor may let me use his trailer, ~10x6X3. I'll check around for firewood locally in the local citrus groves. Let me see what I can do. No pronises yet, but I'll let you know.
Oh do i need one of those Orange flags like at pismo?
Rock on!! it's going to be fun!!! Only thing I can think of is firewood. if you don't have a CB, a 2way radio would be good.. if not no biggie
Oh almost forgot. is there anything special i need to bring? i got most camping stuff with me but i have never been there.
Good news i can make it! right now its going to be my father and I but he might have to work. but im coming none the less.
Hope you can make it!
