just a typo
Oh, I see. In the event details section it says the 18th-22nd. In the description it says 19th-22nd.
It's still Thursday the 18th till Sunday the 22nd, correct? Or am I all messed up?
@Blowtorch Betty- from the looks of your pics, you have some serious guts. For just starting last year and doing some of the things in those pics, my hat's off to you. If I almost rolled 3 times I think I'd slow it down a bit....lol.
@Bryan-I was under my rig finishung my Ricochet armor earlier and my bushings are looking pretty cracked. No noises yet. We'll get ya out of there. I'm so stoked for this. I can't wait to meet you guys and gal(s) and cruise the desert with ya. I hope we will have some communication during the runs. I have a cb and whoever doesn't maybe we can get enough 2 ways to be able to talk to each other.
So did the dates change or am I confused? I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached though....... 8-P
should be interesting! after this last weekends wheeling escapades the front left has developed a clunking /clicking sound believed to be the upper &lower A-arm bushings.. don't have the $$ to get them all fixed in time so bring some tow straps! might need to pull my broke ass out of the desert! lol
@Kabe2611 - I have nearly rolled 3 times in 10 months. I used to love being off-camber... but after cutting it too close a few times now, it just freaks me out.
Well from the looks of the pics you learned pretty quick. This will be my first real trail run in the FJ. I've been out in my old truck but nothing like this type of offroading. I'm stoked. I can't wait. I love camping and being able to drive where normal cars can't.
Actually, just over a year ago I wheeled Opal Canyon. That was my first real trail run, and it's where I learned tire placement!
Allright Blowtorch Betty.......Based on your pics....I went snooping....lol. You have WAY more experience wheelin than me. So you can show me how to drive and I'll pull you outta the fire. You gotta come now.
Bummer Nicole.......U had some insane pics...I snooped earlier and I had some serious "pucker" going on when I saw you coming off that high road. I would think I would roll and say F it and punch it.....lol.
Yeah looks like I wont be making it. Its a bit far from me 5+ hours and with all the upcoming trips I have planned I need to save. Sorry!
If I'm able to make this, it will be a celebration run for me -- celebrating quitting my sucky job and moving on to better things. Therefore, I may well get lit and fall in the fire ;-)
