I plan on changing my stock UCAs, but I was wondering what is the best way to remove the two long bolts that threads through them? Is it necessary to remove the stock battery, or just removing the battery bracket will do?

The passenger side seems a bit trickier. There are cables in the way. Do they have to be removed as well? Thanks!

Removing the battery is, in the long run, easier.

On the pass. side you can dislodge the cable holders to remove the bolt, then snap them back in.

I don't know why, but when I first installed my light Racing UCA, I had to move the battery to get the long bolt out. When I upgraded to Total Chaos UCA's I didn't  have to and it was actually really easy. Maybe when I bolted the battery back down it had just enough space for it to pass by.

Thanks, guys. I will give it a try.
