FJ Cruisers of Northern California

I miss my FJ.  The 80 is a great truck but I really miss the FJ.  I'll write up the reasons if there's interest.

Go Nike on it.........................Do it!

I've got my daughter jumping up and down on me so I'll have to break this up.

Power:  The 80 has a straight 6 and mine weighs over 6k LBS.  Even with the supercharger and 4.88's it doesn't have the power of a well built FJC.  It's older technology, it's a heavier vehicle.  I guess this could be viewed as a positive thing but maybe I've been spoiled.  The 80 is also full time 4wd.

Ride quality:  The 80 is more of a truck.  It's big, heavy and has a solid front axle.  It's a smooth ride but the FJC is more nimble or light.  You can weave in and out of traffic with the FJC.  With the 80 you need to calculate your movements.

Interior room goes to the 80.  In my opinion the FJC has a more comfortable drivers seat.

I'll add more soon.

I guess I should have started this thread by saying "I really didn't want to sell my fjc.". Maybe I was biased from the start. They both have their positives but if I could own only one it Woud be an Fj cruiser

Just go to San Diego and steel it back. :-)
