Thanks. I have 50 mile commute myself
Is that mileage one way our round trip?  For me it's... 67 miles one way. :=(
Sup Matt, I live in San Jose also and  have a 2007 Black 4x4 auto.  Since we all live close by we should all try to organize a trail run.  I've never taken the FJ off road so it would be nice go with some FJ guys to guide me.

If you see me on the road don't hesitate to say hi, I've got the Toyota of Redlands on my license plate...

welcome to the addiction... i said i didn't plan on doing any mods either,.... that lasted all of 3 weeks
yeah definintely plan something soon! I am looking forward to taking my fj out and seeing what it can do in stock form.
tell me when you are planning this and I'll come down and show ya around and give ya some pointers...
I feel the same way Matt, I want to see how the FJ does stock. I don''t want to do any mods until I at least take it out in stock form. Thanks for offering to help out some newbs Bz, hope to meeting you guys soon!
Been wheelin stock for close to a year now. The FJC wheels very well for stock. I will be installing a OME kit this weekend at DHW's install day. But I was given the advice to leave it stock and learn how to wheel stock first before upgrading. I would say the same to you guys wheeling a stock FJC. Let me know tho if you guys head out. I'm located in Rocklin/ Roseville, Ca but always lookin for a reason to wheel. See you guys on the trails. Also BZ is a great guy.

I have been wheeling in my fj twice stock and am amazed at how well it does.  All I am working on at present is protection and convenience mods.  Lifts etc will come later

how much later depends on the weather :-)

Bone stock dude!... ish. : )
I'm back in San Mateo now until I can find a new place so you guys that around the area let me know if you want to meet up close by. I know McGovern's is a good place for a guiness.
i usually hit O'Neill's for a pint when it's not amateur hour there. i used to like McGovern's until they changed location a long time ago. i wouldn't mind going though. i'm usually at Mandala for happy hours. we can set up another peninsula social soon.
