Petaluma Meet & Greet, Sat May 16, anyone who can do the A-Track HACK??

The A-Track HACK

We really need this done, but have heard horror stories about hacks going wrong. Has anyone here done it successfully? Feel like doing it again? :)

Thanks - Ann

Jeebus IS Jake...

Ok, let's do this!
I thought thats what he named his FJ
come on tuff guy
WOW that might be real hard to do ........
I agree with BZ, that hack is the cleanest since you can reconfigure it back to stock at anytime, no messy cutting wires in the cockpit or underhood, etc. I'd be very comfortable doing that to an FJ.
Ann, i've never done this myself for the same reasons you meantioned. There are to many instructions out there and i'm not sure to whitch one will work properly.
huh? come on don't be skeered! =) Hahahaha
Damn, you were one of the ones I was hoping HAD done this... :(
just cut the red wire and attach it to the green one.

or was it the black one with the yellow one?

yeah, something like that.
all of a sudden
I did the cut hack long before the no cut hack with no regrets. Only issue I ever had was the t-tap worked loose so I cut it all and soldered it together. Been running it this way for 2.5 years now with no issues
I remember doing a in the field fix at Hollister with you before you did the soldering, good to know it's still kickin
