Sorry guys with a baby due oct 25th I will have to miss pismo this year. I need to be home with mel and the kids we will meet up after everything is cleared maybe holister idk. Have fun and be safe friends

just so that there is no confusion, 

Sethzilla has put together a Turf n Surf event (like he did last year) the dates for that event is 7-9 of nov. Currently socalfjs and some of the norcal group have decided to stick with the first weekend of nov oct 31-nov 2nd. I am not here to strong arm anyone into any dates if the first weekend works for you see ya there if the second works best have a ball. 

As of now a few of us are putting our heads together to have some family friendly activities, night runs, and maybe even a cook off. we are open to and welcome any ideas that will help this be as fun and epic as possible. 

currently I would like to get a rough list together

we need:

strong ezups

tarps 

zipties

fire wood 

grills 

tables

anything else I am forgetting please add 

we can do a pot luck type of cook off or ?? lets get some ideas flowing!

Terry,  please don't confuse everyone.  All of the SoCal FJ's are already committed and confirmed forth "First" weekend as per normal.  The Landcruser dude that made that page is aware of this.  

  The dates for the event list here are "as listed".

 I have had some conference calls and the majority states, that we should stick with the customary "first weekend" of November (which is Halloween weekend).  So,  looks like the first weekend!
