FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Hello All,

I've seen this thread on other forums, looks like fun...I'll get it started.

I drove my rig to work (first time I've had it out in a few weeks).  Took it in for a wash..

Props for removing the chrome.

Also I am already signed up for the esprit de four saftey clinic on the 21st so i will see you there. Yesterday another member "dave" and i went to hollister and just so happens as we were getting the gate combo 2 of the esprit de four guys pulled up in a 4runner to do their run through for the clinic and invited us to come along so we basically did the whole trail and obstical run through with them...Good guys and a good time.

Thanks man! Yea definitely going to get out for that clinic. Seems to be a great group of people, I'll see you there! Pretty cool you got invited with their group, can't wait to meet up with them as well.

Just set up a OME roof rack and firestick antenna courtesy of nestor. Can't wait to add on the rack. Any suggestions where to start?

I didn't know OME made a roof rack..

;)

Hahah yup they just came out with it. :P well between my new emu lift and the factory rack, OME and OEM  just too easy to mix em up.

Drove my FJ to see "caddo" and installed the DirtyParts dual battery kit, 6-slot Blue Sea fuse block, 12V socket/LVD for the fridge.

We used 2 Odyssey 34R-PC1500T-A batteries.

I removed the 285's BFG  KM2's and mount the stock wheels/265's Dunlop tires in preparation for an upcoming road trip, to save on gas expense and much comfortable ride.

Re-designing the front end.

Painted the grille with Metallic Gray Pearl, put a different grille insert and cut a square hole/trim for 3" 16W cube CREE LED lights. Replaced the Hella 500's and halogen foglights with set of 18W & 16W CREE LED's. Relocated the front (dual) camera. Removed (for now) the modified (LEO style) push guard.

I removed my roof light bar and retired the set of 4 Hella 500s (with rebased H3 HID bulbs upgraded).

I custom made an new light bar to mount 3-LED lights bars (1-22" and 2-12") .

I also made filler pieces for the Bushwacker fender flares and front bumper wings gap.

I put a horizontal square bar (as cross member)  for the base mounts to control the potential flexing and a vertical bar for vibration suppression.

Mounted up my springtail MPAC side rack

Added some interior LED light bars for underglow effect... it was a spur-of-the-moment addition.
