FJ Cruisers of Northern California

Reviving this thread in hopes of putting my curiosity to rest. A guy stopped by our house in San Jose last Thursday as we were getting packed for Pismo. He has been driving by for months now and decided to say hello.
He is the third owner of a Voodoo FJ with a hell of a nice set-up. King shocks, All-Pro bumpers front and rear, and lots more. He showed me a receipt to All-Pro for around $15,000 for various goodies. He said he bought it from a guy named Tran who bought it from a guy named John Gillian or something like Gillian.
Does anyone know this guy and what is his name on the forums? I'm just wondering because this FJ was decked out for fast desert racing and it would be cool to get this guy some pictures of his new rig.
Incidentally, this new owner has never been wheeling before so we told him to keep coming around and we'd drag him out with us to show him what it can do. He'd never heard of the Trail Team so just looked at me like, "So?" :)
He's sure heard of the TT now! I should have given him a sticker. I still have a stack left. :)
I will tell him about this forum next time he stops by.
Saw a nice green rig, nice rack, front bumper, gps on dash and a wave. Then I saw the NorCalFJ Bear in the right rear window.
Location: on Watt Ave across from Country Club Mall at about 5:30 PM. Two members inside... Hey Thanks for the wave...
That was me and the lady! Nice looking rig you've got
Hi all -
Occasionally I see a Sun Fusion FJ around Belmont/San Mateo (I've seen it on El Camino once and in Belmont once). This one is unmistakable as the snorkel is perfectly color matched to the car's paint (sun fusion).
The thing is that I have waved to this guy, tried to get his attention... my FJ is pretty unique/heavily mod'ed, too, and the guy refuses to acknowledge me.
Anyone know this guys and can whisper in his ear to be a bit more friendly to other NorCal FJers?
Sounds like that dude needs a NorCal FJ intervention..
I see this guy all the time in downtown san mateo. I too have waved to him numerous times but hes never reciprocated.
Unrelated but I also saw a beautiful blue FJ in the bridgepoint shopping center in Foster City, blacked out near sports authority last week as well.
