Just wondering what to expect. Bought my Goodyear MTR's with less than half. These have over 80%.

What do you guys get, with brand/size, and does anyone else have Dick Cepeks?

Thanks guys.

Rob, I'm running firestone destination MT's at 285/75/17 and have had them for about 11k miles.  So far they are holding up well and have about 80% - 85% of tread left.  Granted, I haven't pounded on them too hard and don't drive crazy hard around turns with them, I do a lot of road trips with em.  Despite that, they're holding up well.

So you do alot of road trips, consisting of mostly highway mileage you'd say? I sometimes like to drive to SoCal and thats like 1000 miles round trip. Just trying to plan ahead.

Thanks!

Yeah I done the SoCal drive a few times with the tires and they've been great.  I can't answer for the Dick Cepeks but the destinations have held up very well so far.

And as far as mileage, I can range from 14 to 18 mpg depending on my driving habits.  I drive pretty slow and don't really take off from lights either so that helps conserve gas.  The times I do step on it, a mileage drop is definitely noticeable.  It really just comes down to your driving habits.  What size did you find off CL?
