FJ Cruisers of Northern California

After almost a month of driving my parents 2010 TT, there was a break in the weather and I finally was able to wash it by hand this morning.  I have to say that every time I hand wash a new vehicle I really get a lot more familiar with it inside and out and I also really was able to appreciate the design inside and out as well.

Although Toyota says you can hose out the floor to clean it, it wasn't that bad inside and I just vacuumed and wiped the interior down with a wet chamois.  The Sandstorm is a really nice to color to wash and although there is touchless car washes out there, I worry about what the chemicals would do to the black hood decal.

Now comes the decision of what stickers to put on what windows!!

Not so sure about hosing off the inside....would likely cause more harm then good. Unless something changed for 2010.

Yeah, I'm positive it's not a good idea too!  However, I could've sworn that when you watched the "Washable Flooring" video on this demo page http://www.toyota.com/fjcruiser/demos.html that it used to show it being hosed out, but I guess it doesn't!

Yeah..."washable" is correct...... hosing it out :-D....well... probably not!

I agree, don't put the hose in there and think things will be OK.  There are many variations of "washing."
